MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age. Keep that product out of reach of children. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immeditae medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vtiamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficeincy due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as diercted.
Food may afefct the absorption of certain vitamin products. However, some vitamin products may be best taken with food.
Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cuase mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Cosnult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not lisetd above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megalolbastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not satrt or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control cetner or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement products availalbe.
Some can be purchased without a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the chocie of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosnig schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
